EPIC IT Support Program

The IT Support Program provides a wide variety of support and repair services for the EPIC Region.
Our IT Manager works out of the College Street office and maintains the equipment in the main office office, as well as the Head Start facilities and Adult Education facilities.  Other services offered to counties are SearchSoft support, eWalk support, network/router support, WVEIS support, and any other technology assistance that is needed.
The EPIC Systems Engineer is able to offer his services state-wide and is scheduled by email (walter.corley@wvesc.org).  EPIC requires an MOU or other agreement for payment prior to work being completed by the Systems Engineer.  His services include server virtualization installation and support, hardware and software installation, consulting, System Center Configuration Manager installation, configuration and support.  Feel free to reach out to Walt for more information.
The IT Support Technician assists our member counties by offering services including computer, whiteboard and printer repairs.  Repairs are done on-site when possible, as well as via phone, email and remote desktop.
Repair services are obtained through a website which hosts a Computer Repair Work Order System.  Requests are entered by school/building/county contacts and assigned according to the issue.  There is also a link to the Work Order site under Quick Links on the EPIC Homepage.
When assistance can be provided over the phone,  EPIC has a toll-free number which is 1-800-367-3728, or you may call 304-267-3595.  All services are scheduled on a priority basis to provide the most effective, lowest cost service available. If there are any questions about the program, please contact the IT Manager, Jill Woolcock, at jwoolcock@wvesc.org.  You may also look at the IT Support Staff Page to reach out to our staff.

Mouse EPIC accepts donations from various organizations in the area, and the donations are repurposed to the EPIC region.  The EPIC technicians analyze the equipment prior to delivery to its new home, and cannibalize for parts what cannot be repaired. This equipment saves county school systems a tremendous amount of money each year.
